If you are on this page you have received a Study Bible and are interested in finding out about how to move forward.

The best place to start in the Bible is the Gospels, the "Good News" of Jesus.

The Gospels include: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

The Gospel of Matthew has an entire "sermon" of Jesus, the "Sermon on the Mount".  It is found in the Gospel of Matthew, chapters 5 through 7.  It's a great place to start.

After reading Jesus' Sermon, I would recommend you read an entire Gospel, and the Gospel of Mark is a great place to start.  Mark was the first Gospel written and is the shortest in length.  Many of the early Christians memorized the entire Gospel of Mark (few could read, so by memorizing the Gospel, they could draw upon it even though they could not read).  You can probably read the entire Gospel of Mark in a few hours.

After reading Mark, read the other three Gospels in their entirety.
